On top of the carb I see a brass plug with a small hole in the center. Is this the plug you are talking about? I really don't see anything else is could be. Thanks for your reply.
Hello, On my 650's the needles are exposed but on this 81 400 I'm going over they are covered. Can someone give me the location of the plug. On other bikes I've used Dyno Jet kits but they don't seem to make one for the 400. Any help would be appreciated.
I just picked up a 1981 with drum brakes front and rear. The cables are longer then I want since I'm putting Clubman bars on. The bike had tall pull back bars which are about 8 in. too long. Didn't Yamaha make a standard handlebar in the 400 series? I've done this conversion on two XS650's...
