I know this is an older thread but I wanted to add my two cents. If you ever have a stubborn stiff walled tire or even an ancient used one that is a little hard (car or bike), try tire dressing as a lube (Armorall, Tire Wet, etc) It works great and has the added bonus of not drying out quickly...

Hi, Just registered and thought I'd say hello. I'm currently looking for a sohc xs400 my son and I can fix up over the fall/winter. There is just something about a street tracker that makes me smile. Elegant but aggressive at the same time..... hard to describe I guess. The kind of bike that...
