Well, I got them put on. It sounds INSANE! I am throwing flames and popping all over the place. It is crazy lean now so, I am going to order a few different jet sizes to see which ones work for me. Thanks for the guidance!

I am going to try to bring this thread back to the light.....what size clamps for these things? I ordered 1/2" because I read that someone else used that size on their xs400. They seem to be too small. Is this user error? Also, when you cut the mufflers off, did you do any filing to the cut end...

Thanks! I will see what happens if I can get the damn things on. I have never cut mufflers off before so I am slow at figuring out where to make my final cut to put them on.

Unfortunately I can not see the picture that you posted. I took some of the bulk out of mine by shaving down most of the foam. I have not altered my frame...yet...but until that day comes I wanted something not so "cream puff" looking. I just made a new cover for mine instead of paying someone...
