Ya it actually pulls pretty good... it does have the K&N pod filters on it.. that's about it really someone said the exhaust was aftermarket but I dunno ... it will be eventually though... runs pretty good.. not perfect... but I can kick start it at like 7 degree Celsius out so that's cool..
Ya my plugs actually looked good when I pulled them. After a 30 min ride.. ya I will probably lyrics have to look in to changing the pilot then to assist in better start up.. but I'm going to see what happens first today on a cold start up.. the 150 was the only size the local yamaha dealer had...
I just started a build thread.. it's pretty vague...but has a couple pictures of my seat and how I built it... can go more in to detail if you're interested....there is a really good seat build.thread somewhere
And as for.the electric start you need to find the issue.... if.its.the starter.relay or.the actual.starter.... on mine the relay is gone... I plan to get.rid of.it.. but I can't yet. So when I need to use the starter on some cold starts I just use.jumper cables to bypass the relay .
Currently where my bike is at.. license plate mount still to be nodded a bit.. changed the rear blinkers for led will do the fronts soon when I feel like it... I have now put a led tail light on it.. and it's causing me a lot of issues... it works as a brake light.. but if I hook it in to the...

I just did pods on my 79 and just got it running good.. via 150 main jet size.. all other jets are stock... and I think they are about 3 turns out.. and a lot of playing with the idle stop thinger. Also just set the timing and valves.
So I went and chopped it and made my own seat and what not...this seat isn't a permanent one. It was a first go to work out the kinks and get me back on the bike.i wanted to delete the electric start but can't seem to kick it over unless the bike is already warm... new gas new plugs... still...
Ya I fully agree on the cutting up of a bike that is in quite clean shape.. and thanks for the notification that the pipes are after market.. I did not know that.... I still haven't cut anything yet... but I just don't like the stock seat and the way it's all set up... so I'm pretty positive the...
