I actually started out with some cheap pod filters, but I didn't like the look and I saw a guy on xs400.com that used a K&N RU-2970 which is a 2-1 filter, and it looks amazing
This is his picture I'll upload one later today of ours
We redid the entire wiring so it was easy to fit to the new system.
But overall i would say its a pretty easy job.

I forgot to measure my old chain before i tore the bike apart.
Can anyone with a stock XS400 SOHC 1980 measure the length from center to center sprocket (Or just give me the length of the chain they bought last)
I have looked EVERYWHERE for 93450-32042-00 Wich is a Circlip for the transmission.
CMS NL and bikebandit EVERYWHERE.
I lost mine during the rebuild. Does anyone know where to look?
Or do YOU have one in spare

While shopping for a gasket kit for overhauling for my 1980 XS400 4G5 SOHC, I found 2 totally different gasket kits.

So which kit fits my bike?
