I got the bike for the privilege of removing it from its location so the initial cost was worth it. It has been a fun thing for me to clean it up and hopefully grt it running. It was in pretty.good shape except.for the seat which I am having recovered.

I don't have a registration for the bike. I am in the process of getting all the paperwork done but it is more complicated then I thought.

I also have a 15G and also have a 5 gear transmmission.

Thanks for the tip, I am in BC and will go in and get this sorted out today. It would have been easier with a registration but there was none where I picked up the bike

I acquired a canadian 1982 Yamaha motorcycle which has a short version VIN stamped on the frame neck and engine which is 15G- 000841. I would like to be able to register this bike so need the complete VIN but can't seem to find a valid 17 digit number.
