So, i was thinking of boring out an xs 250 to a 400. Is it possible. I've checked on the workshop manual and the only differences are piston sizes and cylinder barrels. Would a swap fit straight in? And if so, do you know from where can I purchase at a reasonable price please? Thanks guys

MMM...an offset is needed for sure...and it can be done, but to tackle the chain track through the frame is a bit of a headache...apart from hindering the aesthetics...I was wondering if i could install a jackshaft...???:shrug:

I was thinking of putting wider rubber...maybe 150mm... that would still pose a probem for the chain...
