Its time for new tires and I'm throwing around the idea of pulling my front fender off and going with a big front tire on the same rim. Stock is 100/90-18, how big can I go without being ridiculous? Also, '80 xs400, not special.

Put new plugs in and went for about a 30 mile ride mostly about 35-45mph. All stock 1981 xs400h b, both plugs are ngk pbr7es. This is what I found when I pulled the plugs after I got home. So, tell me about 'em, plug on the right is the cylinder on the right side while looking at the bike.

I got out to ride my new old '80xs400 and I think it needs a new clutch. It starts to grab (I would guess) at the last inch or less of letting the clutch lever out, then it's really sensitive about getting into first. Thoughts?
