Does my 1980 XS400 Special have 6 gears?!?!
I know, this is dumb, but you have no idea the lengths that I've gone to to find this out. Last stop... Every site online says that the 1980 Yamaha XS400 Special is indeed a 6 speed. The dumby stamp on the tranny cover plate indeed says 6 speed. But, I do not have it, can't shift into it. I...- leeburton
