My left side drain bolt is pretty well stuck in there(not sure how it happened, but hey it happened) and before I remove it/put it back in I would like to have a replacement bolt in case I strip this one too bad.. let me know if you guys have one..

Yes, I have learned that lol. My carbs don't run quite right but that's not a huge issue as they run good enough to drive without issues...

Well I no longer need electric start.. My bike needed a pretty good tune up. Needed the timing reset, the valves needed adjusted, and something was up with the points and condensor. 165 in labor, 20 for the state inspection,2.50 for the sticker and then 4 bucks for a gallon of gas(plus taxes)...

Hahahahahaha. I had to re-read that like 5 times and literally lol'ed each time!!

So I was wondering about the air filters.. My buddy has k&n cones on his bikes intakes(was like that when he bought it) and it got me thinking. Would those be less restrictive(and better lol) than our stock filters/air boxes?

How do you clean carbs? (I know there's carb cleaner but that's about all I know lol) I have never worked on anything w a carb..

My 2F has wires, drums, no electric starter but it DOES have pinstriping on tank..

I did bring bike home in bed of truck with out shutting off gas. My tank does not have an "off" position, it has prime, on, and reserve

Does that mean my carbs are bad? As far as I know, the bike has basically sat since 08 (last registration on plate) I remember seeing a thread about it, but I dont remember what I saw lol..

I may keep just the kick start.. we'll see what a tune up does for me. I have new coils, plugs, plug wires, and plug caps to install so we'll see how much that helps.. Anything else I should look into as far as a tune up? (I know oil and filter change, but what kind and weight oil)
