Really just need the title. Title got defaced and the original owner became nonresponsive. Now I'm stuck with a title under someone else's name and a bike I can't register. Let me know if you have a title laying around..

Ok, so the title for my 79 xs400 is MIA from my buddy who gave me the bike. I have a title 81' xs400 frame that is useless. Question: Can I title the 79' xs 400 under the 81' xs title?... since the frame will never be used. Im in South Carolina if that helps. thanks
