gastank spedometer

hey again, i was just wondering if its possible to hook up a suzuki savage tank with the speedometer in it to clear bar space on an xs400.. and if so what would that consist of.
forgive my lack of knowledge

Anything is possible. How easy it is to do is another matter. It'll depend on how similar the tanks are for size (width, length, height, tunnel, etc.) for clearance reasons, and what the mounts look like. You'll probably need to modify the frame and tank at least some to make it work. Do you have a welder?

ya my friends a welder, im still waiting to hear back if he can weld that kit on for me and then i'll let you know

Be careful with tunnel width kikeybikey.....the XS400 uses the WIDE triple backbone. Just a warning. lol

I've seen a few pics of 400's with the tank just covering the middle rail....exposing the side rails. I didn't really care for that look, but to each his own. lol
