Hey Everybody!
I'm new on this website and totally green with motorcycles and their maintenance. I have just acquired an xs400,82 (needless to say it's my first bike). It's in fairly good shape, it has a few small dents and the muffler has some holes in it, but it runs well and I'm excited.
The bike looks like it needs a thorough cleaning which brings me to my questions: What kind of product should I be using on the different parts? Because this bike is older I was not sure if I could use just any motorcycle cleaning supplies, There's some rust on the exhaust, is there a tried and true way of removing it? Any do's and don'ts that you guys have to offer would be greatly appreciated.
