So a bit of an update on the jetting journey. I installed the 127.5s and gave them a shot. Rode to work once and around town a few times. Bike ran fine and gave no ill symptoms until after I was riding at highway speeds for a few miles. I couldnt get it past 70mph. Id slow down and get into 4th and run out 4th,5th,6th gear. Between 4th and 6th Id only have like a 5mph difference it just wouldnt pick up. Lost all usable power.
Looked at the plugs and they were slightly white. Mid range was fine but the top end had nothing when it got warmed up..
Checked valves, timing, rejetted, adjusted idle screws, synced...
So I put 132.5s in and lowered the needle one notch. Bike has more midrange and screams on the top end. Only street tested but I have some nice lonely curvy back roads where I can bring it up to around 60 and back down to 2nd gear speeds and really move around the rpm range in a couple gears.
