I have a 1981 XS400H. Converting to 18" Alloy Mag drum wheel in back. Build is going to evolve as I go along. No idea which direction I want to go yet but it'll be fun. Started with full disassembly of entire motorcycle. First up was a thorough carb cleaning. I've been collecting parts and info for a year now, so I'll be ready to get started with the build Summer 2016. Ideas include aluminum tube intake runners, speedo drive adaptation to keep functional flasher auto cancel, and hopefully spin on filter mod. If all else goes well, Garrett has a turbo, that would fit nicely on this bike :)
