Finally got the bike to the point where it should be safely able to be ridden to work, and whatever else. Wife had this bike for more than 15 years, and she stop driving it in 2003, (the last year the bike was issued a license plate/tabs) for some reason a Mom on a bike with a 5 year old is questionable. She had 2 batteries cause the bike wouldn't charge them. A friend had told her the forks needed work, so the first thing I fixed was the forks, and that snowballed to Brakes, Fuse block, Clutch issues, broken kick start journal, doing a bottom end re-build, "I have to have a Kick start" Carb float with holes causes flooding of Engine block, Airbox, and muffler. and of course the rewire of the stator/field coil, replacing the voltage regulator. I suppose re-sale value is still only going to be only $500, LOL
