For the cleaning I used a carb soak from my local parts store. 20 minutes for each one and after one soaked. I used a wire brush. I'm still trying to decide on what color I want. I used a spray primer with anti rust.
Well guys i recently purchased a 82 Maxim for my first bike. I knew right form the start it would need some work. so off came the carbs ( it hadn't been ran in 3 years.). Then the tank. After cleaning the carbs out i decided to give the tank a new paint job. Here's what i have so far.
