Hi l have just got a brand new front guard from Busters and l think its ok , and got a rear one off ebay for $10 and had it shipped over and its rust free. l have found a firm called Yambits to be spoton for YAMAHA PARTS . they are on ebay but also have there own site.

Hi All, l have been told that the best way to clean out the carbs is to clean them in a Ultrasonic cleaner, has any body tried this ans does it work well, ? thinking of buying a ultrasonic cleaner to do the job , can get one from maplins for around £40 . wondering if its worth it :bike:

HI hardtail, just wamted to say l think your lifts very clever , havnt really got the space for one myself but if l had l would deffo make one, cant wait to see how your bike turns out, well back to cleaning my engine :bike:

Thanks guys, doing my best to try and get the bike up to the high standard of the other bikes on this site. looks like its cleaning time , tried car alloy wheel cleaner on the alloy bits and its not bad but l like its going to be down to hard work to get that engine clean. then the even harder...

Hi Guys , just a few pics to see what you think of my project so far :bike: going to start work on the engine and cant deside on painting the engine mat black with just a few bits polished or to try and clean up the whole engine :confused:
