so i got that jet and installed thanks jeff but new problem now every thing worked great tell i destroyed a cam chain :( one bolt came loose on the cam so needless to say it was a mess
so all said and done orderd new cam chain for 100 from local shop (hully gully) and then orderd full gasket...
ok so figured i would give you a heads up jeff0133 just received the jet and washer thanks again and i will get back to you on monday with results supposed to rain tell sunday night so cant try it tell monday
sounds to me like possible coil problem once the coils start to warm up from the heat of the engine rising the coils shit the bed if i was u i would ohm read both coils well cold then ohm read both coils when the bike warms up and shuts off that should tell u if it is a coil problem u could...
i would love to have a 117.5 i was gonna go to hully gully and order one but if u got one i could steal i would love you for ever :P if u have one of thoughs washers that go in between the carb and the jet i would send u 21 virgins lol

when riding my bike seems very sluggish between 4500 and about 7000 once i hit 7000 it is like a rocket ship checked plugs they seem brownish with a tiny bit

i got a 1984 yamaha maxim xs400 trying to figure out what stock carb jets are becouse bike is running rich i have set the carb wot needle to leanest setting and it is still a little rich so i was just wondering if any one knows the stock jets i cant seem to find a hole lot about this bike
