Decided to not finish this project cus i have another one I am more interested in doing now. Frame has been hard tailed and strecthed 4" with the 3 down tubes removed in favor of one. Tank is a sporty tank. Motor runs strong. Needs bits and pieces to finosh like bars, gas cap, petcock, foot pegs...

i will post some of the welds when i get over to the garage.......not in a rush cus i picked up another project and decided to sell the xs400 one.

Finally got my frame back from dave the tigman....... now time to get to painting..

the rear fenders some of you guys are using .....the ones that sit low on the frame where or what did the fender come off of?

Teeth on the gear look fine. Had the cover off yesterday. The battery is also on a charge.

So i bought a 1980 xs400... was told the bike wouldnt start. Got it running . But it will only start using the kick start. when trying to use the electric start it pops like it was to but wont start. After that the starter only spins and wont engage. What could it be and where should i start...

Does anyone or can anyone point me in a direction to have someone hard tail my xs400 frame for me? I live in Mass. and would be willing to ship the frame to some place on the east coast.

I think i have found one. do you have these kits in stock?

Im kinda new to this....converting from years of sport bike riding..... travis is this something you could weld up and then ship out....the kits i mean for hard tailing
