    Yep the Vin matches the frame.! Shot meaning: linkage broken, screws missing, no Idle adjustment. Heads of brass screws stripped out. It's clean, but well used and been assembled and disassembled, many of times.!

    I'll call myself stupid, but whats the difference in 20-50 and 25-50.???? Because I got 15-40 in 1978 XS 400 now. And it's too noisy. 35,000km never rebuilt. 150 compression.!

    Thanks drewpy, I read on this forum somewhere that Haynes manual suggested Bp7. But apparently the Yamaha service manual suggest BP6 as stock, BP5 as hot and BP7 as cool. So I don't know, it's all new to me. Just tiring to grab whatever info I can that has been some what justified.! While tiring...
