personally I like the sintered metal cone style. It does a good job with particulates. Any thing else gets through likes like ice tea.

I would not go any wider than a 110. I mount and balance my own tires and I went up 1 size....took me a half hour to beed the tire up, not fun.

closest size is listed at 3.50 would be a 100/80 or 90-18 3.75 to 4.00 =110/ -18

I just put a 100/90-19 on my 83 max and it is a big chunk of tire, not to mention it was more difficult for the tire to beed. Those narrower rims can only hold so much width. Remember each up size in width is 10MM divided by 2. 5MM per side. Also a 18 inch wheel with that larger tire is going to...

Hi guys, I just put a set of shinkos 712s on my 83 maxim 130/90-16 rear and a 100/90-19 front matching set from M/C super store 120.00 to the door. Front took a little time to seat on the bead but finally did. Good luck.:thumbsup:
