I rode my first motorcycle (not as a passenger) July 4th 2008. I hated riding pillion (it's a control thing and I'm better now), my best friend had taken the safety course that spring and put me on her bike, showed me where everything was and I said 'so, that's it, I'm really only this far from taking off...' she said 'Yes' and I did.

Hubbs gave me my XS400 June 2013.

I have until mid August to get her up and running so we can attend the Very Boring Rally in Duluth MN.
