That was the way I. Got them to line up, perpendicular to the crank centerline, so is the manual incorrect? I don't have it fullly assembled but it seems to have compression
Ok, I cannot get he cams timed.
I have the serv manual d/l form this site, pulled the cam chains adjuster out, but cannot get the cams lined up with the crank mark.
Whats the secret?
Looks like i am missing both side covers/trim.
Also i am missing on of the exhaust collars (in pic)
Where do the other two piece go in the attached pic?
Does the engine need to be raised up to get the upper mount bolts to line up?
Couple of questions..... Does the front cam chain slider just drop in.
On the right side of the engine the two big head bolts have a copper type washer, but left left side doesnt.
And are these the right nuts for the head studs?
