    Motor wont turn over with head cover on.

    Yup chances are the valves are touching the pistons and causing you to think the engines locked up. Do not force it over or else youll bend the valves permanently. Reset the valves to standard timing specs as suggested in the manual and good luck:bike:

    Nothing wrong with those welds. They look perfectly fine and if they arent cracking, there is nothing to be concerned about. All thats needed for a smooth ride is that the front and rear wheels to be in alignment.

    Theres rubber plugs in my xs400 carbs. Im not sure wether these plugs are required or not which begs the question: Can they be discarded, or are they in there for a reason?
