Thanks yeah I took the carbs off and ink going through them checking everything out. The only thing that really got damaged was the rear brake signal wire got a little melted. I think the gas was just burning up when I got the fire out so luckily not much damage. I'm definitely checking for any...

It was pretty exciting. My extinguisher is a foam one just for the garage but I've never had to use it before... Must have been too old... The fire was huge at first but seemed to be outside the carbs. Not really coming out of them. seemed to be below them. No clue I guess where it started. But...

I am fixing up and modifying my 78 that I hit a deer on a while back and I put a gravity fed tank on. I went through everything and cleaned it all up. I went to start it and after a couple kicks it started right up. Then it started sputtering so I gave it a little throttle to keep it running...
