Thanks for the feedback! The VIN is totally throwing me too, ithas a whole in the left sideof the tank I thought could be a where a missing kicker lever went, but It doesn't look right to me. Pics coming this evening. Thanks again for t he help. :) Posted via Mobile

Could someone tell model number for my xs? Vin is: yja16m007da061030. Tag is worn off but I think its 5/82 for the year. Is it dohc or single? Is this model electric start only or does it also have kickstart? Any info would be much appreciated as I cannot seem to figure this stuff out on my own...

mines an 83, I assume they must be pretty interchangeable. I live in Everett, WA if anybody is local I can come to you.
