The post broke with no hope of welding on a nut. I tried to drill a pilot with a drimel and the use a screw extractor but that didn't work. The pilot never really got going. Now it's super bored out. I have no idea what to do, besides start going through the carb and pray for a solution.

Drill the whole thing out and tap it for the next size bolt.

That's the advice I was going to suggest, and also to use a Hex headed bolt (Allen bolt) to make thing's easier on future disassembly!

Once the bolt is out you could also use a helicoil to use the stock size of bolts.
I'd go next size up maybe consider stainless Allen head
