I am in the process of switching my original spoked drum wheels to the mag wheels with the disc in the front. I have a the new forks and front brake assembly. Only thing I haven't figured out is if I can use the original speedometer cable of do I have to get one from the XS Special?

Will a xs650 caliper bolt up to a xs400 special? I have read some and hear guys of using them for their builds but I wasn't entirely clear on if that is an exact bolt on or if they had to use xs650 forks also?

I have found all the parts I need for converting my 1980 xs400 front wheel with drum to 1980 xs400 special wheel with disc. I have found the forks, wheel, and master cylinder. Only thing I can't find is a caliper... Anyone know where I can find one? Am I missing anything else important?

Do the 1980 XS400 Special Wheels need tubes like the regular XS400? Also, what size are the tires for both?
