    I also built my own forward controls from some straight pieces of pipe that I cut out of the original rear end of the frame. I had already chopped a large portion of the frame so I could build my own swing arm.

    Yeah, I figured it out. I ordered some tubing to a certain specification based off of the worm gear. Still working on the actual linkage, but the foot controls and worm gear shaft are complete.

    I did some looking at the actual clutch worm gear. Along with that, and some threads on the 650 page, I’m fairly certain I can fabricate everything I need to do. I’ll post pics when I get everything all fabbed.

    It does look like that, if I were to cut the press fit metal piece off holding the diaphragm lol. But I don’t even think the new piece would fit through the spacer anyway. For the price I paid for the rebuild kit, I should have just bought a new petcock assembly.

    Since this is a complete kit, do the other pieces allow you to reinstall the starter cover? I’ve only seen just the plug available elsewhere.
