    Well I don't know what my longest ride is... But I drive it 110 miles a day as it is 55 miles to work =) I would guess my longest was about 225 to 250... Peace David

    I don't think there is a magic combo... I have run mine at 75 to 85 for long periods of time running both 16/35 and 16/37... Seems to me the 400 engine runs best at higher rpm's... at least mine anyways...

    I think you all need to eat a few more cheeseburgers... lmao... I drive mine daily on a 4 lane highway... I run about 70 to 75 mph... I have driven in high winds and rain... she always sticks to the road nicely... but that might have something to to with the 270 lbs I add to the ride =) Peace...

    PROGRESS!!! Ok... I am beginning to loathe the previous owner of this bike... well perhaps I should thank him for the lessons on what NOT to do to your bike =) So I got no readings from the 3 white wires from the alternator... So I pulled the side plate... Also found out he used the wrong...

    Ok... so I pulled the regulator off of an running yamaha xj bike... it has an electronic rectifier / regulator... has the same wire patterns using a shared black i assume... and tried to test the regulator part... gave me the same results as the one from my bike... so i think my regulator might...

    OK... Found some more info... I have the items identified correctly... What is interesting is that my voltage regulator is not adjustable... as the manual says... so I am wondering if the testing procedure need to be different...

    So I removed the wiring harness... I think I have correctly identified most of the electronica attached to said harness =) Seems like the important stuff is attached to the battery box / air filter assembly... There is the big ignition unit with a wad o wires coming out... the thing with fins...

    Lowering the forks is easy... just loosen the bolts that hold the forks in place and slide them up in the triple tree... I would like to hear about the stretched swingarm as well!!! =) Peace David

    Ok... Heres a weird one for ya...

    Ok... so I got caught in heavy rain and my bike did not like it... she started missing on the right cylinder... and then back firing... then stalled... I got her dried out and she is now running again... but it is very strange... lol Before I got caught in the rain... the 2 stage enhancer...
