Hi... I am not sure how long it will take me to rebuild my bike, but while it is just sitting there, should I drain the floats? I know it has to still have gas in it and the last time it was started was maybe two weeks ago. Thanks.

hijack -- Have the wiring harness off, would this be a good time to just check it? If so, with what? Or would it be better to it completely?

Was able to get the complete speedo tach set, but still need: right control throttle tube speedo cable left and right levers (pref black) can't seem to think of anything else right now.

Found where that wire was connected, it was connected to the left controller. ???? I am not sure why since there were no signals, no horn and the switch for low/bright was broken off.

I think that will be the time frame for me as well. I don't know how to do it myself either, but I guess I will learn along the way. Worse case, I have to have someone else do it or show me how.

Is this that product that you just spray on and wash off with a water hose? I did a google search but nothing specific comes up.
