    1983 xs400 clutch push rod help

    My push rod broke and looking for another one. I found one but it does not look the same as the one I pulled from my motor. Is there other years I can look for or is the 82-83 different rods?

    Help on year of engine that I bought!

    I am new to the XS400's and bought an engine with the number 16M-000XXX on the case. I think it is a 1983 due to looking on line. All it has is the YICS on both sides and it is silver (not black). Thanks for any help.
