    I traded a lawn mower for this bike now i have one hell of a question...

    Correct the mower was a 79 and the bike is an 82... I'm going to attempt to push start down my driveway and see if it will start up... I'll be surprised if it don't start, as it has spark, compression, and fuel... does anyone know if the Ic ignitor has to be grounded or is it internally...

    THere aren't any points on this bike - ic ignitor.. how do I check the brushes on the starter? As I see two Phillips screw s on the end cap of the starter?     Update found a ground not hooked up feeds rectifier. it also looks like the ic module has a metal plate for a ground on the backside, yet its mounted to plastic that's bolted to the frame.? It now arcs the plugs when I turn the ignition key from on to off.. and nothing when I switch the kill...

Wtf right???another thing is no matter what battery I've used it turns over real slow and as far as I know...
