1981 xs400

I just bought an 81 xs400 in running order. I have gas leaking out of the carb into the airbox. Why? What kind of carb rebuild kit do I need? What about air pods to put on? What kind, where do I find them?

The float level is either stuck orit needs to be adjusted.If the bike has leaned over too far gas will leak out of them.Replacment pods oem style can be found at Mikexs,The old bike barn" and other places.
