1st xs400 build.

This is the first yamaha build for me, and I wanted to see if I could get pics to post, so I could sell some stuff. Its an 81 special and I feel its in too good of shape to completly chop it up so I'm gonna just go lightly with it. Obviously just getting started.

cool thanks for comments. I have some new clubman bars on the way and I need to get some exhaust on it. and finish the seat.
Has anyone ever installed a cherry bomb type glass pack on their bike right off of the chopped pipe and left it as the tip? I like loud but I'm not sure how loud this would be or what it would sound like. anyways Ill post some pics later of any progress.
