Hi, recently bought an 82 xs400. Wanna make a cafe racer. But tank and seat don't fit right. I found a tank I like on ebay, but for a yamaha Rd 125 or rd200. Will it fit my xs400? any help appreciated

The rd200 frame looks fairly similar so it will probably fit but the mounts are not exactly the same. Some welding/cutting/fabricating likely required.
As far as I know there are no known tanks that will fit without some modification for the mounting points at least.
