Drain floats?

Hi...

I am not sure how long it will take me to rebuild my bike, but while it is just sitting there, should I drain the floats? I know it has to still have gas in it and the last time it was started was maybe two weeks ago.

When storing a bike for a while it is good to drain gas out of the tank and the carbs as well.

Thanks.. what about oil?

I store my bike in a warm dry basement, but what I do is drain all of it out (including the sump filter plate) for about 3 weeks. Then put it all back together then fill it with new oil. And every week or two give it a few kicks to keep things moving
