This site is awesome!! I have recently aquired a 1978 xs400 with 7800 original miles on it! A Mechanic was the first owner, my stepdad was the second owner, I am the third owner has been garaged for the past 20 years. The only drawback is that it had a half tank of gas in it with the petcock opened! Iim in the process of rebuiding the petcock and carbs, also cleaning the rust out of the tank. The best thing is I used a small tank I had with new clean gas and it fired right up!! Big thanks to Everyone!! any questions I have had have been answered so far. I have alot of cleaning and scrubbing ahead!!
