I need help with pick up coil specs.

I have a 1982 DOHC xs400 maxim. Having starting issues now. Ok, got the carbs sorted. I put them back on, got the bike running, just was fine tuning the screws and then the next time i tried to start the bike wouldnt start. Turns over, got fuel, coils are within spec 3 and 8000+, but still no spark on left side. so I am guessing its the pickup coil. I measure 116 between orange and black wire going into the ignitor box. I get nothing between gray and black. Am I supposed to get a reading there or not? If I am reading the ignition diagram correct. It shows a gray wire to one coil and the orange to the other. Right side sparks great, just nothing on left side. Plug wires check out fine, caps check out fine. Please help I am so confused.

You ever figure it out? My problem is the same but with orange wire side.
Gonna order new pick up assembly tonight because ignition coils are good & this is my second TCI box.
