Heyo Guys!
Its been a while since I posted so just dropping a line or two.
I have been wringing the heck out of 'little brownie' and riding the heck out of her. I am on my fourth tank of gas since I got her and did the initial cleaning the carbs, tank ect and have had no issues.
Today on a ride though, I started having a idle problem. I adjusted the idle a skoosh and got her home.
I was wondering- do you guys all have in line fuel filters?..and if so, what are you using?
I was just wondering.

A fuel filter is an excellent idea, you can't go wrong adding one.

Don't have one yet (still in the teardown process)... but I am planning to go with an inline filter from Mr Gasket through Summit Racing.

Haven't looked what size fuel line these bikes use (only had the bike a week)... but there are alot of different styles/colors etc on Summit:

I'd say it's the absolute cheapest insurance for not clogging carbs or worse, so yes.
Here's a stainless mesh K&N filter

But even a paper filter from the lawn mower section of any store is better than nothing. While reading up on fuel tank cleaning, there was even one person who, after cleaning rusty tank, used both a mesh and a paper filter for first tank of gas.

i use the tiny one on the top left

be careful some older plastics will melt and clog your carbs due to the ethanol content of modern fuel. Ask the vendor before purchase

i use one from advanced auto in the small engine section.i also use stabilo fuel additive which is supossed to nuetralize the effects of ethanol
