Hello everyone, my name is Augusto. I'm new here on the forum.

I've just started working on my 1977 XS400 cafe racer project. Picked it up about a month ago. Began making a list of new items/parts. A lot about this bike is simple for the most part. Check out some of the pictures below.

I wanted a digital speedometer and tachometer. I found a nice setup for about $260.00
I will know in a week or so if this set up works 100% once I have routed power to the digital speedo. But here are the parts. You can buy all 3 from DIME CITY CYCLE. Lets hope this set up will work.:umm:

ACEWELL 2853 DIGITAL SPEEDOMETER.
ACEWELL 2853 DIGITAL TACHOMETER CABLE. (ACE-S5)
ACEWELL 2853 DIGITAL SPEEDOMETER CABLE. (ACE-S4)

So far everything has plugged right in.

I will update you guys with more pictures and with any issues later.

Yup $260. But it will be worth it. Lose about 10 lbs. Worth of cables and cluster.

But you also need to have a budget too. I'm expecting to spend a good $2,500.00 worth
On this project. Which is actually cheap compare to other past projects.

Well after along haitus from this site, i'm back. I've been busy transforming my SV650 track back to street. And finally back to work on the XS400. I hope to have the tank stripped and free of rust by the weekend and get it painted.

Might use this METAL RESCUE on my tank, look easy and safe.
