oMG, what have I gotten into.

Not a fan of iridiums. I have built high performance cars(import and domestic) for most of my life. When I was younger I built and rode bikes.

Is there a reason you recommend copper wire over helical wound carbon(like I have) and why you would choose iridiums over a standard copper plug?
In most of my turbo cars I would use copper because of the flame fromt characteristics over that which a small spark iridium gives. My Subaru uses iridiums really for the longevity(hard as hell to change plugs on a H6).

2hp with just a spark plug change is pretty good. The 8.5mm MSD wires I used are helical wound copper. They ohm near the same if not better than a solid copper core, thought they were the carbon but they aren't.

Thanks for the help.
