Rear Mag Drum as Front Wheel?

I am interested in keeping the Mag wheels for my 1980 XS 400 but running drum brakes front and rear. I would like two 16 or 18 inch mags running drum brakes.


Any problems with running the rear wheel as the front wheel?

I imagine the spacing for the rear sproket may be an issue.

I am hoping the brake shoe and plate diameters are the same for the front xs 360 and the rear drums on the 350 and 400.

Any experience and or advice (other than don't do it) is appreciated.

how are you going to stop the brake plate from rotating?
standard xs brakes are TLS and the rear is sls!
