rim 18 and tire size

Hello,

I'm converting my custom 400X 4G5 in dirt track. I currently have a rim with a tire 16 mounted to 130.
It quasiement impossible to find a nice trail tire in 16 ", so I put myself in search of a rim 18 ".

So I found in the technical review of the rims 18" had different width possible on the model (1.80,1.85 or 2.15). the custom is 2.50.

I fear that the tire 18 is too thin (the rim is almost the same width as the front !!!), what max size tire I can mount ?

What do you think for my project? have you example with this type of config?

yes i have original size rims

4.0 x 18 on mine as well, with the original mag rims.

They fit no problem mate.

what Type of tire are you running? I like the looks of them.

They are Dunlop K82.

what is the model of your tires? size front and rear?

4:00 x 18 on rear 3:50 x 18 front Mitas (kenda) which are a dunlop K series rip off, but they are cheaper
