So I was adjusting the timing on my points bike and everything was fine. Next thing I know, the idle slowed and it would die when I gave it throttle. I pulled it apart, and everything looks good. The weights and springs seem fine. When I rotate the module there is only a very minimal change in timing. What did I break? Bone Stock 77. Only cosmetic mods.

I find the points gap crucial to get a decent timing advance.

I use a dwell meter to get them synced the same
