What Exactly Are My Light Dimensions?

I'm considering the purchase of a cafe/bikini fairing.

If you go here and do a page search for "square" you'll see the one I'm thinking about.

Now, this is intended to be a kawasaki replica but it's just about the only thing I can find that will work with my "square" headlamp preference.

When I measure my lamp housing, it comes to about 8". When I measure only the bulb, well, then it's something like 7.75"

What are the dimensions technically? Will this fairing work? Can anyone point me to something more compatible but of the same style?

1/4" difference equates to 1/8" all round which is what you want. the lamp normally stays on the ears and the fairing around it.

You also need some gap for lamp adjustment.

it will work, you'll need to fab some brackets, poss fibreglass them in. They are universal so don't expect an easy install
