Where does this washer/spacer go?

i just got all my parts back from powder coat and forgot to bag/label this. Must have come off a wheel or something...? Does anyone know where it goes?

Looks like a dust seal of some sort, go to Yamahapartshouse and check the diagrams there, process of élimination i guess

I was thinking it was a dust shield on the swing arm shaft, but looking boats.net does not look like an XS400 uses them, unless that is the part they are calling a shim.

Best place to start is make a list of any bolt or shaft that has that diameter. Then go to Boats.net and see if one of those has a dust shield.seal like that.
