I'm really not sure what exactly this bike is. I got no title with it and the sticker is half gone. frame and engine numbers match, but not 17 numbers are showing. it's missing a few. I might have to part it out or look for a titled frame..shame, I like the bike.I would have left shocks on it though. Is this an RD or xs?I'm not sure of the year. The soldier I bought it from didn't have much info on it except he said an old farmer from Rochester had it. I never learn. I didn't even check for a readable sticker before I offered the cash. I figuered they were all stamped on frame anyway. But didn't look for that either. I got it cheap so I wasn't worried too much. Besides he gave me a bunch of solvents, new small parts, primer, paint and was a hell of a nice guy in a bind to unload this and a tiny yamy 1 cylinder chopper that is cool in it's own right,. I did get the title for that one. I need to figure out just what that displacement is also. The sticker is good also on that. Home made springer front end is a bit shaky on it.I'd hate to have it vibrate apart doing 50. Thanks for starting this site and hopefully I can give some suggestions and answers to others as well as learn a few things.
