Somehow a kind of a masterpiece. The engine was not yet finished when the pic was taken; I sharpened the contrasts later, adding some black and chrome to it ;-) This 4G5 was reb uilt after a heavy accident in 2010. I then took the opportunity to give this little machine a slightly 'british' touch, whatever I had in mind then... However, I painted the fueltank in a dark green metallic which I hoped to let it come close to the impression of a british racing green. YAMAHA on the tank came in gold on black. The chrome parts were polished as good as possible. Only a few years later the engine came up with a little problem - which I successfully made a bigger one... Unfortunately I never took any opportunity to solve the problem. The result is a still unrepaired 4G5, already a little rusty and not working in any way :-( Shame on me! I hope I will be able to rebuild this nice bike soon. Actually, I'm working on a DOHC 12E and a Honda CX 500 C, but one day these bikes will be finished. Then I should start to work on my beloved 4G5 !
